What we take from a house or flat

A house clearance can be one room or the whole place, and a flat is no different. If it fits in the van, we'll take it:

  • Sofas, beds, wardrobes, mattresses and other bulky furniture, carried out for you.
  • Washing machines, cookers and dishwashers. Not fridges or freezers.

Before anything goes, we'll check with you what's staying. Anything that can be donated is put aside rather than binned.

A photo gets you a more accurate price. The form on this page takes up to five, and you can send more on WhatsApp.

Garages and sheds

We clear garages and sheds too: boxes, old tools, bikes and whatever has been in there for years.

One of the jobs below wasn't indoors at all. It was a pile against the side of a shed.

How it works

  1. Send a photo

Use the form below, or WhatsApp us a picture of what needs to go and your postcode.

  2. Get a price

We'll come back with a fixed price, usually the same day. No obligation.

  3. We clear it

We do the loading, so you don't need to hire a skip and fill it yourself. We sweep up after ourselves and send you a Waste Transfer Note. Pay by card or cash.

Before and after

Three jobs, shown with the customers' permission.

Before: boxes, a desk and a dehumidifier in a flat After: an empty room with the carpet clear
Flat clearance
Before: boards and panels from a ripped out kitchen, with roofing sheets and bin bags, piled by a hedge After: the same spot by the hedge, clear
Old kitchen rip out
Before: a chair, cushions and bin bags piled against a shed After: grass by the shed, nothing left
Junk behind the shed

What we can't take

Hazardous waste needs specialist disposal, so we can't take fridges or freezers, paint, chemicals, asbestos, gas bottles, car tyres and wheels, batteries or fluorescent tubes. Your local recycling centre can take many of these.

So in a house clearance the fridge and the freezer stay. Washing machines, cookers and dishwashers can go.

Licensed, with the paperwork

We're an upper tier registered waste carrier, licence CBDU638282, and every job comes with a Waste Transfer Note: the legal record that your waste went to a licensed carrier.
